Custom Pultrusion Drawing Checklist
Prepare the geometry, tolerances, application conditions and demand information needed for a faster feasibility review.

Use this checklist before a custom profile review so geometry, material requirements, tooling and validation are discussed in the correct order.
Define the cross-section
Show all cross-section dimensions, wall thicknesses, radii, symmetry, lips, grooves, hollows and any critical mating interface. Mark the dimensions that control assembly or customer acceptance.
State application requirements
Describe loads, moisture, named chemicals, temperature, UV, electrical needs, fire/smoke expectations, colour and surface. Reference a standard only when its scope is confirmed for the project.
Explain processing and validation
Identify cut length, holes, notches, tolerances and labels. State whether the first evidence should be a dimensional cut sample, assembly sample, performance test or trial order.
Provide demand and delivery inputs
Provide sample quantity, expected first order, annual demand, target delivery and destination. Tooling, MOQ and production planning depend on the actual section and supply program.
Key takeaways
- Separate critical dimensions from preferences.
- Review the section and material requirements together.
- Confirm tooling, sample, MOQ and approval steps before mass production.
