FRP Profiles for Commercial Greenhouse & Agricultural Systems

Standard and custom pultruded profiles for crop support, equipment rails, secondary framing and outdoor agricultural components exposed to irrigation, fertilizer residue and weather.

Greenhouse risk profile

What fails first in a working greenhouse?

Material selection begins with the actual operating cycle: water, nutrients, cleaning, weather, suspended crop systems and the way long components are installed or replaced.

Greenhouse corrosion, weather and FRP application comparison
01
Condensation & irrigationRepeated wetting creates corrosion and maintenance concerns around frames, fasteners and equipment supports.Check exposure pattern, drainage and connection materials.
02
Fertilizer & cleaning residueAgricultural salts and chemicals can accelerate deterioration of unsuitable metals or resins.Share chemical names, concentration, temperature and cleaning method.
03
UV & outdoor weatherSunlight, heat cycles, wind and seasonal weather affect surface, colour and resin decisions.Confirm indoor/outdoor location and required service conditions.
04
Long-profile handlingLong rails, stakes and members affect field labour, joint count, bundle size and container planning.Confirm cut length, tolerance, quantity and destination before packing.
Application anatomy

Start with the greenhouse component—not a generic FRP benefit.

Different locations need different sections and review inputs. The same material system should not be specified for every crop-support, equipment or framing role without checking the duty.

Profile selection matrix

Choose by component role, then confirm the engineering inputs.

This shortlist helps contractors, equipment manufacturers and import buyers start with the closest product family before dimensions, resin and fabrication are finalized.

Use a standard profile whenThe section already fits the duty and connection.

Confirm the stock geometry, cut length, colour, resin requirement, quantity and destination.

Review a custom profile whenOne cross-section can simplify several parts or interfaces.

Send the drawing or sample so tooling, tolerances, machining and trial quantity can be reviewed together.

Custom & OEM support

From greenhouse drawing to repeat supply.

For custom rails, crop-support systems and equipment interfaces, development risk is reduced by agreeing the drawing, sample, inspection points and packing details before repeat production.

Haikuo tooling and custom profile support
01Application reviewComponent role, exposure, loads, drawing or physical sample.
02Section & material reviewGeometry, resin, reinforcement, surface, colour and length.
03Tooling & sample routeTooling feasibility, sample expectation and inspection points.
04Trial order approvalCutting, drilling, appearance, labels and packing checked against agreement.
05Repeat-supply baselineApproved drawing, revision, bundle details and destination retained for reorder.
Factory, QC & export proof

Control the profile against the order—not a generic quality slogan.

Greenhouse supply often involves long repeated sections. Inspection and packing should follow the agreed drawing, cut list, appearance requirement, bundle quantity and destination.

01Cross-section & wallCompare critical section dimensions with the agreed drawing or sample.
02Cut length & squarenessConfirm length, tolerance and the required end condition.
03Appearance & colourReview visible surface, colour and agreed finish expectations.
04Secondary processingCheck hole, notch, drilling and cutting locations where specified.
05Identification & packingConfirm bundle quantity, labels, protection, destination and document needs.
Buyer questions

Resolve the engineering and supply questions before price comparison.

A faster quotation is useful only when the profile, environment, processing and packing assumptions are clear.

Send these five inputs first1. Application location and component role2. Drawing, size or physical sample3. Loads, span or support spacing if structural4. Cut length, machining and colour requirements5. Quantity, destination and target schedule
Can FRP replace the entire greenhouse frame?

Not automatically. Primary structural members must be reviewed for project-specific wind, snow, crop, equipment, connection and foundation loads. FRP may be used in selected structural or secondary roles when the design is properly checked.

Which resin system should be used?

The answer depends on moisture, fertilizer or cleaning chemicals, temperature, outdoor exposure and any fire or compliance requirement. Share the real service conditions before material confirmation.

Can Haikuo supply both standard and custom profiles?

Yes. Standard tubes, rods, channels and other shapes can be reviewed first. A custom pultruded section is considered when the interface or assembly cannot be solved efficiently with existing shapes.

Can profiles be cut or drilled before shipment?

Basic cutting, drilling and fabrication requirements can be reviewed against the drawing, quantity, tolerance and packing plan.

What information is needed for a quotation?

Send the application, drawing or size, profile length, environment, quantity and destination. Site photos or a physical sample can help when the section or interface is not yet fully documented.
